If Trump wins and doesn't abolish the income tax, I wonder if that will finally wake people up about (s)elections and finally get the masses to revolt.

@xianc78 I don't think that will happen. I think Trump will probably work to at least get taxes trimmed down though.

@beardalaxy Trump is making huge promises. I feel like it's either he's going to have to fulfill those promises or the masses are going to revolt.

COVID has already destroyed a lot of faith that people still had in government. I don't think that even the most diehard Trump supporters can tolerate any more broken promises.

@xianc78 @beardalaxy it does seem he's learned from the last term who not to have by his side, but as always it's probably just going to be a speed bump to the current issues

@RK7 @xianc78 i was waiting for him to mention fauci in his joe rogan interview when they were talking about that and was pretty disappointed that he didn't. the covid stuff in general sort of got glossed over.

@beardalaxy @RK7 @xianc78 Rogan is too nice to ask any hard questions or challenge Trump's half-baked answers. He's a terrible interviewer but an apparent godsend relative to network television which keeps the bar so otherwise unfathomably low
