all it takes is one guy with too much time on their hands to false flag and shut down every independent site you like including most fediverse instances. federation didn't stop all the webring boards from being kicked off their hosts and domains in the same week for no other reason than a report claiming they are 8chan (even though 8chan already exists).

We are likely to lose the smuglo.li domain in the next few days. It's not 100% yet, but likely. All services are being moved to smugloli.net.
Unfortunately it's impossible to change the domain name of a Pleroma instance because of how federation works. That means GNU/Smug is going cease opperations early Saturday. If you want to keep posting on the fedi then I suggest that you export your follows ASAP and move on to another instance (shitposter.club is good)
