@opal @Jazzy_Butts irs not "real" in that it doesn't have any psychoactive or delirious or otherwise usual interesting effects on perception. it's some chemical. it's on the level of acetone at best in terms of enjoyability id imagine. but there's the whole conspiracy theory that it's a drug taken by elites to stay young or whatnot

@opal @Jazzy_Butts weed is very much the same always for me except for the the very first time i took it which freaked me the fuck out but was very much a varied sensory experience. since then it's just a calm relaxant. i think my brain has a lot of inertia. it's psychoactively dull. some analogy for this

yeah, drugs that are fun are drugs that do more than stimulate/depress you. that challenge the idea you could imagine all the range if things you could feel or think about. if every trip can have so mahy factors as where, what mood, with whom, its so much more fun

oh god my FIRST experience was with a thc tincture and i dosed way too much for having no prior tolerance. this is what happened: i took it, i got tired and went to sleep at some point, i woke up into a full-blown trip with extreme cottonmouth, but... i had already done acid before, and i was aware i took thc earlier, so even though i couldnt tell which fucking way was up, the only negative response i had to it was that it was ANNOYING lmao. other than that it didnt phase me, it was an interesting as fuck trip regardless

@opal @tarperfume I had cevs from pot, had to smoke a lot of pot. Couldn't move. Equilibrium gone, room jittering like alcohol. Almost threw up. Was very taxing.

@tarperfume @Jazzy_Butts i have no amnesia from that trip so i can safely say i was just shaking profusely and like... getting out of bed like it was a heavy lsd trip, trying to get my bearings. probably nothing too interesting. internally though, it literally felt like i was seeing my short-term memory process. best way i can describe it is when squidward is in that weird-ass void, but instead of that it was just a bunch of numbers and made-up words repeating themselves in my head like every second

@opal @tarperfume I called it "autopilot" when I was stoned and would just walk around doing things, I obsered myself going to get a sandwich and then veering off out of nowhere to go pee and all I could do was say internally was "Huh, guess I'm doing this now" like when SpongeBob had plankton controlling his brain.

@cummies @opal dxm is a disassociative and disassociation is so, so much fun. Disassociation feels so peaceful, it's such a relief, like finally turning off the switch in the brain that says "this is real, take this seriously, be stressed"

@cummies @opal I once took a large dose of benadryl and had very vivid waking dreams, I would nod out and enter a dream that I didn't know was a dream, then after a while I'd wake up in reality again confused, and unsure, but vaguely remembering what was going on, until it ended. Deliriant use is also dangerous because it increases the chance of Alzheimer's disease.
