So that's why the reaction of Israel does not surprise me, but I understand it, because they are pressing buttons and dropping bombs they can psychologically distance themselves from their actions. Hamas was on the ground, raping, ripping, tearing, with their fingers. They have no excuse, they are not psychologically distanced from their actions, they are savages and that the civilian population won't take up arms against them, their own government, is telling.

The government could come kick me out of my house tomorrow, and I could be like the Palestinians and throw a shit fit (it might even feel satisfying) or I could be like a normal person and take my lumps. This whole thing has made me do a 180 on wako by the way, I used to think they did the right thing but now seeing it through a larger scale perspective I definitely believe they did not do the right thing either.

If they would totally surrender even then israel would have to carry out operations with the new Palestinian government to hunt down the remaining extremists.
