Sounds like you have thoughts that make you uncomfortable, the only solution is to become comfortable with those thoughts (and feelings), you can't reject them, they are apart of you and you can not amputate them. You can only deny them until they grow into a pathology that causes you immense pain or you can accept them as part of yourself. I for example love ugly ass cartoons from the 90s, because I grew up with them and they are apart of my psychee now. Why can some people see horrific shit in war, and be fine, and others fall apart?
