And there can't be a gap between something and nothing, because nothing doesn't exist, it's an abstract idea of absence, and so since it's non existent, you can't be far from or close to something that is non existent. A global language MUST come about, since english is already the language of business, it is logically the best choice. English is not superior to any other language and has flaws like any other language, but I'm not the one who set up the current state of affairs. Regardless of which language is chosen though, a global language MUST be instituted, otherwise we will continue to flounder as a species.
