I get the feeling the next big game is going to be "the" big game or "that" big game. I'll explain, this is not pure schizophrenia. Games have hit a stagnation period and are now being developed by more people who are indi. We are finally seeing niche games that give us what we want, whatever that is (different for each of us maybe). Soon there will be a game that encapsulates everything, it will be the grandchild of ideas like vrchat or secondlife. It will be seamless, and intuitive. Things like joysticks controlled with your eyes or finally solid ai that can fucking hear you that you can just speak to like cortana from halo and it knows what you fucking want. No more drag and drop. No more tapping 500 times over the life of the game just to do a simple mindless task. No more tallying and keeping track (unless you want to.), that's your ai games job. You can say "sell my junk" and she might even be intuitive enough to ask for clarification "what is junk?" and you'll just be like "my dick ayyy lmao" and she'll be all "I can't help you with that I can only buy and sell items in your inventory" and you'll be all "chill i was joking" and the ai will just awkwardly be silent for a while and then go "ok".
