@mario I'm not allowed, so I don't do it, that's the point of laws. Any normal person would want to destroy an enemy, in the same way any normal father would want to kill a man who violated his daughter, and he is free to state that, he is righteous to state that, because he is telling the truth, such as "I would like to twist this bastards head off, but I won't, because I am better than he is, as a man who submits to law and not his base desires."

@mario I burn bridges because in this modern world I am not allow to drive a spike through the head of an enemy, I am legally forced to retreat until retreat is not an option.

If it was just a tradition with no serious meaning, but their ranks, like the ranks of Christians, are filled with superstitious fearful dangerous individuals, who work as a team to "defend" themselves, ie attack any and all who do not submit.
