Why a trench? Several reasons.
God dwells in the deepest places, where none have gone.
All things fall, and sink, eventually to the lowest place, this is entropy.
No one has used a trench before as a symbolic religious metaphor, to my knowledge.

The symbol of The Church of The Trench should be a stylized trench, either something resembling a V or a U

I'm a lifelong pacifist, radical lefty, and vegan for more than 20 years, so I'm no ally of the gun rights lobby. But seriously people, ideologically-motivated mass shootings can't be stopped by twiddling the knobs on gun control regulation. For the same reason the Unabomber couldn't have been stopped by tighter regulations on living in the words. For the simple and obvious reason that the disturbed people who do these things don't give a flying fuck what the law says.

The first tenant is nothingness. Dwell on that for a while if you want.

It means this is a special time for church members.

What does that mean?
It means we are mindful, it's a way for us to regain lost strength.

We don't, it's just for fun.

Do you believe in a god?
Church members are not expected to believe or disbelieve in any god(s).

But do YOU believe in a god?
No, though it is possible there is one or more.

How can you believe in divine revelation if you don't believe in a god?
The divine is not conscious, it is the truth above all, when I realize a truth this is what I call divine revelation.

THE FIRST TENANT IS:

@TheSomebodies I can't do theaters anymore it hurts too much to sit for so long (old body bones)

@lethe @Arcana @nik @scathach Don't you know crossdressers literally say the same thing about trannies? "I'm a RESPECTABLE crossdresser, not one of those INSANE people, they make everyone think I'm one of THEM!", it's not right

@lethe @Arcana @nik @scathach Do they really make people think that though? Or are people responsible for their own conclusions?

@Arcana @nik @lethe @scathach Why not? My reason for thinking they are is that they were men who wore womens clothing and behavior for entertainment of crowds.

He would talk to me about my feelings and would get in other people's faces when they're mean to me :blobpleading:

If I had a loving gentle kind husband who didn't make fun of me or tell me to shut up that would be kind of based maybe

@Arcana @nik @lethe @scathach They're not parodying trans people they're parodying cis women, and it started because women were banned from theater.

Sun will be down here soon and that means the first thread of The Church of The Trench will commence in a bit! The thread will consist of a "sermon" and hopefully conversation.

Why do women always want to be controlled? Why do they always want to be the weaker? It's gross. I'm sick and tired of it. Where's the women who fetishize weakness? Where's the women who fetishize the men nobody else wants to fuck because they're so small, and "too nice"???

@Terry I don't disagree, and I think the woman should have gotten in trouble too for election interference. Also it's not just political, the law goes easier on women especially when they're pretty, ugly men get jammed up because I mean, hey, they're gross to look at.
