Reminder that autism and pedophilia are often connected. They don't have to be, but there is a strong connection. One of the traits of autism is being more interested in people who are not your age, for example getting along better with children and liking childish stuff. Naturally it makes sense that you would be attracted to those you can connect with. This fits right in with the emotional part of pedophilia.
I believe the main reason why this connection hasn't been made is because pedophilia currently is seen as only a sexual thing, but if you know there is an emotional part to it as well, the connection becomes very obvious.
