Returning post, long/ranty, TLDR at bottom.
Hi, I'm back from my little vacation and I have a few things to say.
Firstly, the paraphile community really fucking took a nosedive over recent years. It's nothing but whining and petty infights these days. I'm getting really sick of the drama. For this reason, going forward if there's some scandal that has nothing to do with me or anybody in my instance, leave me out of it or I'm blocking everyone who tries to bring me into it with no exceptions. I don't care. I have too much going on in my personal life as well as everything I have to do to keep this place running. I don't care who random assholes think I should defederate. I don't care who is "grooming" or "doxxing" who. I don't care who the "transphobe" or the "nazi" is. It's not my business and not my problem if nobody on monk.ey.business is involved, and even if it were my business or my problem I can't fucking do anything about it if they're on an instance that I don't control. Leave me alone and stop inviting me to your admin matrix rooms.
Second, and on a similar note. I need people to help me run this place. I know I'm fishing from a pool that's practically empty, but DM me if you're interested. Obviously I'm going to be quite picky with who I choose for this. Please don't get offended if I turn you down.
Third, I've been heavily considering running an experiment instance that doesn't federate with anything but nnia.cc. This instance would be quite different in that there's a higher bar to entry and it's less of a "free speech" zone and more of a "no bullying" zone. I'm hoping that space would be able to grow into a better version of the community we were trying to make in the first place. Let me know if you're interested but please note that it's an experiment so it might not last and also I'm not even entirely sure I'm going to do it. It's just an idea I'm playing around with.
TL;DR:

Oh no I'm worried about falling into a love triangle with two cute chubby autistic girls...I have to not lead anyone on, I can't keep breaking hearts.
