Hey regardless how you think about the virus right now don't you find it funny that for about a month in 2020 all the rightoids were going "we gotta prepare for this virus and stop Chinese tourists from coming in" and the leftoids were going "no it's just a little flu why would you lock down" and then it reversed super hard. I don't feel like many people remember that and it feels really pertinent lately.

I just found out about a pretty interesting study:

“In the pilot study of 49 people with chronic PTSD, all were given a week-long lucid dreaming workshop and 85 per cent showed a significant enough decrease in symptoms that they were no longer classified as having it. […] The lead scientist on the study, Dr Garret Yount from the Institute of Noetic Sciences in San Francisco, called the results ‘truly remarkable and highly significant’. Morley said that in 15 years of working with military veterans and people with PTSD he had ‘never seen such outstanding results’.”

This is probably very relevant to many MAPs if we can assume their rates of PTSD are similar to that of gay people:

It’s a pilot study so I assume more research is needed and bla bla bla, but since I’ve been planning to compile a list of resources for mental health problems MAPs commonly experience, I think I’ll definitely include it and ways to learn lucid dreaming in it :3

Within hours of reopening MAP Merch Shop with our new payment processor... they have suspended our account. I am appealing, but I'm not too optimistic it'll do any good.

There are a small number of payment processors, and I imagine most of them aren't jumping at the chance to work with MAPs.

I started MAP Merch Shop, because I want to give people the opportunity to show Pride with physical MAP merchandise. I was never in it to make money... and honestly, I've lost money on this endeavor.

For the time being, I can still process certain payment methods through analog ordering. But that's not sustainable for me.

Part of my criteria for starting the business, is that everything has to be automated. I never even got it fully automated, due to accepting analog orders, Monero, and providing customer service. But it was automated enough that I didn't have to monitor the site daily. Now without an automated payment processor... I have to be involved with every transaction, and that's not sustainable.

So I ask the MAP Community:
