Truth is, I don't really think we got a Batman movie that was made by people who really understood the character or what makes him so interesting until Matt Reeves showed up and made The Batman in 2022. The Batman is not only a better Batman movie than The Dark Knight, but is a better movie overall in I feel every way, from the fights, the emotions, the cinematography, the style, the writing, everything. He also knows that Batman is truly, just truly a flawed individual, he is on his verge of Vengeance, and kind of does this only for the kid inside of him that died the night his parents died, he as a result brought fear not only onto the criminals, but the citizens of Gotham, and was the butterfly that made the Riddler exist, and by the end he has such a massive growth, and overall in just one movie his character arc is amazing, he learns more than Nolan's Batman ever did in 3 movies, and is just the definitive Batman experience you can get for a movie.
