@matrix Leftists are the ultimate urbanites. Makes sense the emergence of nature displeases them. Then again, they pretend to care. I wish we had those arcologies, like in Sim City 2000, where we could ram all leftists into a mega building with inner parks and keep them there. They'd probably want to go live there out of their own volition.

I don't get all of the right wing hate against the cities. I chose to live in middle of huge city, because it offers me 10 times more options when it comes to everything from work, shops etc.

Social interactions are a lot harder, and the living expenses are harder, but I still think the increased earnings are the best option for someone my age right now.

@LukeAlmighty @rasterman Cities are great. I just don't want to be crammed in and inhale fumes. Satellites are often the best.

@matrix @LukeAlmighty >Satellites are often the best What do you know about the moon base?
@LukeAlmighty @matrix >I don't get all of the right wing hate against the cities Leftists live there. Big cities allow for a degree of parasitism, where one has access to consume from its production disproportionately more than one contributes to it, so parasites are drawn to them. Of course it has its advantages and not everyone who lives in one is a leftist parasite; but those are just observable phenomena and enough of a reason to hate big cities. :cirnoShrug:
@rasterman @LukeAlmighty @matrix As soon as humans did agriculture, we are drawn to cities. From the sumerian Ur to modern Tokyo, cities exits because they are so convenient and the sheer proximity and density of people allows for more extreme specalizations and cultural niches to develop
