I cannot believe, just how much easier my life became, after I switched to czech qwerty keyboard.
I still cannot believe, that other people are using that default trash setting.

qwerty is kinda bad for a whole lot of reasons, but a primary point that people, who are not in a native English speaking environment, should consider is that it was created with the English language in mind. So apart from the obvious lack of special characters your language might need, you also have the issue of even the standards keys not being placed in an optimal distribution.
Don't know much about Czech qwerty, but if it does anything like the French azerty, where it shuffles some of the standard Latin letters around too, then I can see why it would be better.

Yes, default czech keyboard has 3 changes when compared to english.
1) special symbols are mis-placed (noone cares)
2) Czech symbols were added (GREAT)
3) FOR SOME IDIOTIC REASON, "Z" AND "Y" WERE SWITCHED.
That means, that when you work on english VM, while on czech PC, you look retarded, because you write bullshit 30 times a day.
@alyx And that is, why I LOVE czech QWERTY keyboard. It just removes the 3rd change.
And I just wonder, why anyone thought making qwertz default was a good idea.
