Yeah the prequels are sick imo, the music, set pieces, and combat are incredible. Acting has some issues here and there but it isn't too bad.
I actually really don't like the original trilogy. Maybe it's because of its age or something but it always seemed way too corny/bland to me. I've always liked Anakin and Kenobi more than Luke/Leia/Han.
Then you have the 2D clone wars series which kicks ass. Samurai Jack except it's Star Wars? Sign me the fuck up.

The og trilogy is definitely old school while the prequels are modern. I understand why someone would find them bland.
I love the prequels and that period of the franchise because they tried to build a coherent universe with history, culture and living population
