EA made Sims 4 F2P after 9 years...
Sims 2 is still better :D

@LukeAlmighty Making it F2P is just an excuse not to make a fifth game.

@xianc78
I actually am surprised, they didn't do this 8 years ago.

They had more then enough DLCs anyway.

@LukeAlmighty The 3rd game could've done it as well. (It had a shop where you could buy items using real world currency) But I guess the F2P model wasn't as popular then.

@LukeAlmighty >F2P
I reckon this means it has to be connected to the internet 100% of the time (maybe it was already like this, idk), and just going by EA's disastrous record I don't think that would be a good idea :srsly: SimCity 2013 was a dumpsterfire.
Still, yes, Sims 2 is much better. Would love to see something like it but with the open-world of Sims 3 :senkosleep:

@kerosene @LukeAlmighty sims 4 iirc has a toggle in the settings to not connect online. You can add a firewall rule and it will work just fine too.

@LukeAlmighty I actually like sims 4 the most, the more I've played it. Sims 2 has a lot of charm but there is something just, idk, *old* about it. Sims 3 is awesome, but it runs like shit. Seriously, who has their game run at an uncapped frame rate while literally all the logic runs at 30fps anyway? Huge waste of system resources. No way to run it at 60fps.

Can't wait for paralives, seems so sleek.
