Yes, the devs are getting lazy.
For me, it was Dithering. A method so barbaric, we left it in the era of Win 95, but somehow, devs came to believe, that putting near-unlimited detail in the scene is ok, as long as you get few pixels here and there representing the details.

Just, look at the hair... If the game is on 4k screen 4m in front of you, it might look fine. But if you're a gamer like me playing on a full HD on the table, this becomes a crime against your eyes.

@LukeAlmighty @Mr_NutterButter The idea is to create faux transparency and blend textures with a fraction of the strain on the GPU.
Barbaric... I guess a little, I don't mind it as much, but it's not good, for sure.
The performance it saves though, can't be ignored, it's just too good, and some people don't mind, so it will be used.
With large enough resolution the issue it mitigated, so get used to it, sorry.

Literally impossible, sorry.
I will not spread butter all over my monitor just because some devs don't understand, that a static mesh over a moving scene is an atrocity.

@LukeAlmighty @Mr_NutterButter Try tweaking the settings, maybe it will help, antialiasing might do the trick.

I have the same issue with temporal antialiasing and motion blur, can't tolerate either.

@diresock @Mr_NutterButter
This game literally offered higher then 100% render size. I think it even could go up to 400%. And I tried everything I could, but a static mesh is a fucking static mesh. The game is just fucked.

*And the reason, why I didn't even bother with FF7 remake, even though it has Tifa.

@LukeAlmighty @Mr_NutterButter Correction: It has small tits, covered up, Sharia compliant Tifa.
