An interesting question was asked in an interview.
Name a father figure, that young kids should be able to look up to.
I'll go first
Ok, I will go first. I didn't want to choose anyone "just perfect", because we don't live in a perfect world. But he is someone, who did push himself to truly do the best he could.
@LukeAlmighty I know we aren't real big on capeshit here, but Batman is probably the most goyish "superhero" there is when it comes to basically every aspect of the IP, at least when it comes to older content. That being said Alfred is probably one of the better father figures in general, especially when you consider Alfred's perspective.

Since I got a lot of responses already, here is a 2nd one.
Silco. He adopted Jinx when he knew her father nor her sister will take care of her anymore, and he didn't mind her quirky nature. Instead, he did still train her to be self-sufficient and technologically educated to an extreme level.
He also was willing to protect her up to his last breath, as he was fighting his whole life to ensure she can live in a safe city.
Peak father right there.
