Why does it seem, like game devs have completelly given up on the idea of game phisics enhancing the experience in 2010?

Seriously. The force unleashed came out in 2008, and it had:
Materials: Metal, wood, glass, bio etc
It had reactive ragdolls, that could interact with the environment.

And now, nooone is trying to even copy-paste it 10 years later? Even the sequel to THAT GAME didn't have the same physics. It's insane.
