Of corse every "political side" has both strawmens and crazies, but that does not change the fact, that they seem to be based uppon different moral foundations.

For me, the primary moral foundation is freedom to get a happy life for yourself. That means, that when some lefties say that "gay rights are a only-left problem", they are plain wrong. But I am not a leftie, because the rest of BS they want is tyranical according to my moral bases.

Everyone has some problem worth fighting for and some values worth saving. But centrists seem to be lacking any moral bases in comperasion...
