This meme is so far from my experience, I would have to write an entire book to describe it accurately.

That is literaly what I said. Understanding the concept means understanding the signs, steps and inevitable result.

That is the best lesson from programming. Once you know the rules and imputs, you KNOW what the result will look like.

Problem with orwell is the same as with the WW2 poems. They got the concept, but were unable to describe them in such a rords, that people knowing the work saw it comming.

In other words, people learned about the concept, but 99 percent did not understand it.

@Economic_Hitman @teslanaut
No, you don't get it.

They do want only one thing. TOTAL POWER. And the best way of achieving that is when you can argue 2 totally opposite arguments at once, while being able to switch them whenever it fits your needs.

You're too bad to get a job, you're for affermative action, because you're discriminated against. You will be fired for your race? RACISM!!!!

It's really easy to see once you realize they are not arguing, but they are throwing magic words instead.

I was never into gambling, but do you know where can I bet if the shooting will start before or after election?

This is way too interesting topic not to bet on...

@fribbledom
Well, right now, I am told by computer somethint and I will deduct what to tell the person who tells the computer what to do...

I love my job.

"The spread of computers and the internet will put jobs in two categories: people who tell computers what to do, and people who are told by computers what to do."
