I find it appropriate that to speedrun fallout 1, you only need to blow up two nukes.

@Locksmith @akeno@liberdon.com
Same and I hate it, but it became a reflex of a kind... :AHHHHHHH:

@akeno @LukeAlmighty i don’t even need to train. hearing someone say “because of covid” is like a trigger to me now. i’ve become like an sjw, but about covid lol.

I am using Godot for now... While it might not be the best, I still prefer my engines to be able to run on a toaster...

When I wanted to learn with Unity, after first startup I was sure that the 20 min loading time was just not for me...

@enigmatico
Exactly. The utility for most begining developers is immesurable.

(I am still working on first project, that is more complex then snake...)

@LukeAlmighty > your PC should not be powering up for 10 minutes

I just remembered that Unity doesn't just allow you to export your game for PC (Both Windows and Linux), but also for console (Playstation, XBOX, Switch...). So it also eases the process of porting your game to different platforms from needing a dev kit and repurpose your code, to just a click (and a valid license of course).

@enigmatico
Literaly never ending argument between usability and effectiveness.

I get it, your PC should not be powering up for 10 minutes, but to be arguing about a tool that made game development even possible for many, that's just retarded...
