in japanese, laugh (verb) is 笑う（noun 笑い）
笑う -> warau
笑 -> wara
if you laugh a lot, then warawarawarawarawara -> wwwwwwwww -> oh this looks like grass! 🌱 -> (meaning grass in japanese)
