The only counter-argument I can think of are European gypsies, who are given no special rights, but still being hated for living in a.... unique lifestyle. (and I know, that existence of an exception is not even an counter-argument)

@LukeAlmighty the division game they're playing is to just pick a caste and give them some bullshit privilege to cause resentment. in the US that involves selectively refusing to prosecute, burying mass shooters that aren't white, etc. in Europe they play the same game but its for arabs. works with any group really. just pick one, give them some special treatment for seemingly no reason, and press hard.
