Oppenheimer was a fucking disappointment #2
I guess the director seriously believed, that I'm going to care about the red scare.
But he's a 202x Californian. I know he's a commie in a commie country. 4/5 of the actors are commies, and I am watching it in a commie country. So, what exactly was my reaction to watching people suspect others of being commie supposed to be?
I know commies are going to win anyway. Both historically, and I know the director couldn't show commies in a bad light even if he wanted to.

I get it. Building the biggest bomb in hystory, and dropping it on civilians is not enough excitement for an average movie goer. So, let's put some boobies in it.
Boobies are not enough? 2 sex scenes, one of which is while a fucking comitee is watching
2 sex scenes aren't enough? How about some communism talks?.... Fuck that. Let's fill an entire 1/3 of the movie with a congressional meeting about question, if the guy who made the horrible rice cooker 3000 with politicians questioning if a person might be a commie...
Such a good premise for a movie, and they had to fill it with shit. 3/10
3 meaning 10/10 for a third of a runtime.

Some small businesses try to pull that shit because they often don't get paid until +30 or +60 days after a job, so they stall paying their employees to avoid temporarily covering the difference out of their own pocket.

The worst thing is, that every day, it becomes more clear, that it did explode for a reason.
It wasn't just a cheating GF
It wasn't just corruption
It wasn't just collusion between corporations
It was a true clash of 2 worlds with completely incomplete moral frameworks. (and maybe even something bigger in a context I still don't know about.)
