@ainmosni out of curiosity, do you have any idea what solution could be implemented? with all the people responding to you you must realize just how bold your opposition is at this point. what are you going to do to convince young men that they should give their allegiance to you? is calling them oppressors and that they deserve less going to win them over? are you confident that you can fool enough of them into thinking you don't actually hate their guts? a lot of these young men have grown up in this environment of equity and inclusion, and have learned already that politicians will not represent their interests. what could you possibly say to these people?

@skylar @ainmosni I can second this. I tend to rub elbows with a somewhat wider group of people than the average chud - I'll talk to strangers on the crew bus to a hotel, waiting around in an airport, meetings w/ new people, hanging out in a new town with some strangers, and such

And I sense a definite weariness in the normie. They've been pushed too far too quickly, and they're starting to snap. The pan-left acts like they've won and secured that ground behind them, forgetting that nobody ever voted in gay marriage at the kind of numbers they believe it was. It's been top-down court fiat from the start, and now the rationale sold to the normie - "It's none of your business what people do in their own homes! They just want to be good family folk like YOU!" - was obviously a lie, even to the most zogged out boomer brainlessly turning on primetime television out of habit.

I hear it in the quiet mutterings, see it in the eye rolls, the quiet white-on-white eye contact when I'm in a waiting room and an AIDS advertisement comes on their daytime TV. The homosexuals have worn out their welcome many times over.

Just a reminder that the extreme right is using toxic masculinity as a way to recruit young men.

While we can easily blame men for being toxic, I don't think it will fix much. We need to create a narrative that speaks to men that feel lost. One that's different than all the toxic shit that's so effective on these guys right now.

There's legions of young men feeling left behind by society, and we need to make sure they don't feel that way before things get ugly.
