Why is it that fanatics never understand what arguments are effective?

I mean, I heard interesting points for christianity, but when I talk to christians, most of them start blabbering like: Look at this tree. It is perfectly designed proof by GOD. (actual argument I heard)

And with vegetarians, it's even worse. Did you know this meat used to be a cow???

I mean it. I have not seenn him say anything interesting or even agreeable. Why would ANYONE vote for him. (not against Trump)

These people never understood science.

In primary school, they learned, that science is what teacher sayd.
In highschool, they saw, the science is what another teacher says.

Out of school, they see people on tv saying what science is.. So that's why there's no difference for them.
