Yeah, but I forgave them on one simple fact. We truly live in a different world now. Back then, there was no goodle and no simple way of looking up controversies.

If educating yourself means going to library, and still seing only the books on topic from the side of that author, the rebelion against established "facts" was simply impossible.

@matrix Oh no...
I wanted them to hold it for at least a week. This way, the damage is not certain...

@verretor @crunklord420
Aint it funny, that even some crimes have a free market solution, that government has to outright ban in order for the crime to continue? :pepelol:

@mono @chris @Moon
Sadly yes.

I went through this one, and is one of the primary reasons why I do not trust a doctor even when he says that the sky is blue.

The worst thing is, when I talked about this with my father years later, he said: The expert said so, so I trusted him. I dodn't get a reason not to, until I saw the results.

@Moon @chris

medicalization of dissent is a feature of psychiatry.

we're one step away from "being an asshole" as a psychiatric condition

>For every short, there is someone on the other side who owns the stock...

So? The same applies for the stock growth. the stock market doesn't grow. The only thing that happens there, is that money do travel from one account to another. You cannot complain when it comes away from you, and you shoudn't complain when they come to you.

Either all of it is immoral, or none of it is.

@mig @astib Automatizovat je dobré třeba i věci, na které jsi jinak moc líný :-)
