I missed the entire gamergate show.

For me, it was ironically enough Milo. (Yes, now, I know he's an idiot, but that does not change what I saw.)

He was just sitting at the podium having a calm debate. I haven't heard anything offensive, when a bunch of apes surrounded and threatened him.

Cops were standing by, and observing... looking at these apes threaten the one person they were hired to protect that day. THAT was something, that drilled a hole into my world view so huge, it wasn't possible to ever fix.

Everyone has a story, and each story sounds ridiculous on it's own.

Gamergate is the best example. Ammount of gamers radicalized by that event is ridiculous. Especially if you see games as a hobby. But if games are the main coping mechanism to help you survive this cruel world, then there is no bigger attack on your mental health, then what they tried to pull off.
