One of the most important messages written in 1984 is the idea of preserving memory. Humans are incredibly unreliable at that. I mean, ask anyone who has ever dated another person.

Fortunately, computers work marvels. For example, do you remember this tweet? The importance of saving it and other news articles like it is not to expose and laugh at hypocrisy of these institutions. What's more important is to know whom you can trust and whose political ideals and goals align with yours.

It totally doesn't matter whether someone says "the right words" today, if yesterday he was talking the complete opposite. Politicians do this all the time. Try to figure out what their interests are before aligning yourself with them.
