Actually, that was exactly what triggered my almost allergic reaction. The hard line between fake good and fake evil, that people seemed obsessed with me not questioning.

As well as willingness of normal people to repeat apocalyptic scenarios without acting accordingly.

It was too wild for my brain to comprehend, but I knew it was a lie, and a disgusting one at that.

If it helps you in any way, we had one such session in 1st grade about recycling, and since then, I knew it was a scam. If you're even in slightest able to detect artificial social pressure, this shit will inevitably build a disdain in you.
