I cannot help myself, but once a topic I care about comes along, I just feel the need to insult the other guy just to see, if he cares about the topic more, then he cares about the insult.

If they can come back, then I can write my feelings as honestly as I can. I literally pray for them to ignore the insult, yet it really is a harsh test. (especially for troons.)

No, I absolutely DO understand, that the best players of the best have dedicated their entire life to the game.

That is the players. But the entire aspect of dedication is meaningless once you do look at the fans. They are literally looking at who kicked the ball better. That is meaningless.

I do include an exception for technical sports like F1 or even acrobatics, where you can apreciate some individual acts, but when it comes to football, it's all just "this guy kicks good".

Yes... But I kinda expected to hear a story about how it could have happened.

But instead, I good the good old reddit response. I am so tired of the hivemind, that all the subs develop. And it's a shame, since the concept of pre-filtered topics into sub-reddits does sound amazing in theory.
