This argument makes me very circumspect about the prospect of AI mass unemployment.
On the one hand, I can easily see AI replacing doctors pretty much overnight, but on the other hand, that's because doctors are generally pretty mediocre.

The way I see it, staying in an organization that wants to push fascistic laws just because they didn't do it yet, and saying that we will stay in the said organization even if they pass said law tells me, that you're not against fascism at all. It sounds more like you are just against switching to it faster, then the rest of EU is ready to.
