@LukeAlmighty @coolboymew @lanodan @tuxcrafting this was also explicit in the early days of the movement; they made no distinction between transgression and liberation and *sought* to transgress sexually in every way possible because ANY rules, ANY norms, were by definition oppressive. from the beginning queer theory was an libertinistic, anarchistic ideology and the movement has rarely strayed far from its precepts. there was a period in the '90s when the movement people were mostly behaving themselves and acting like normal human beings (that was when they finally kicked the pedos to the curb, incidentally) but that period was an anomaly. we're starting to see the norm again, and yeah it's accelerating in a very disturbing and frightening direction.
