Christ's teachings were all about glorifying the weak and pathetic. Celebrating martyrdom and suffering. Promising retribution for all the evils committed against the faithful.

This is all perfectly in line with what the left is doing. Far more so than what medieval lords did with it.

Christianity only took hold of Europe because rulers realized that the religion that the slaves practiced was perfect for centralizing power and keeping their subjects in line. After all, if your authority has been granted directly by an all powerful god who punishes all who go against his will, you now have a free hand to do as you wish.

That interpretation is certainly less in line with Christ's teachings than the left's bullshit.
