I am serious. I have not spoken about this to anyone, and considering just how many programmers are in here, I know this is the best place to ask.
I need to know if this is "just a phase" and if many people go through it.

@sjw @jeff I keep toying with the idea of writing a C library for memory with ownership semantics. Not being able to overload or have generics is pretty killer though.
So I’m kind of toying with the idea of writing a C library to generate and compile C code on the fly, to implement generics.
Then I realized such a library has to know what a “path” is, and attempting to define that broke my brain when it turned out to be complex af
