the MiG-23 (first flown in 1967) was actually the first fighter jet to introduce a Heads-Up Display (HUD) where radar data from the Sapfir-23 fire control radar was displayed on the ASP-23D combination gunsight/hud.
so X4 has these quests you can do for the factions later in the game where they ask you to construct a station at a particular spot. They want you to use your construction ships (like giant space cranes) and hauling vessels to build it at the specified location with the specified station modules and equipment. If your station has at least what they asked for, you can give it to them to complete the quest and they pay you its value plus a little more as a commission. So you can add extra stuff, if it has like an L dock but they asked for an S dock they'll still take it, but your profit is lowered.

It hasn't been worthwhile for me to do these quests for a little while because I have a mining empire and I do a lot of mercenary work for the Split of Zyarth's Dominion. I have my own shipyard and a fleet of ships I'm using to defend Zyarth territory and raid Argon space which pays the bills. But now that I'm using all the resources I mine to feed my shipyard, I'm not selling the resources to the ZYA shipyards anymore and ZYA was having trouble making ships. They're bottlenecked on not having enough ore, and can't make new mining ships fast enough to get shipbuilding started again.

So I took a quest to build them a little defense outpost in a sector with raw materials and I built their defense outpost, but also added a fully vertically-integrated shipyard that's totally self-sustaining and only requires ore and gas input to produce ship output. Then I completed the quest and the NPC took control of it and started spamming ships. That's about where I am right now, but I could write pages about the shit I did to get to this point.
