@LukeAlmighty @maxmustermann @TheMadPirate @xianc78 @ChristiJunior @kino @Ricotta Well, you can separate people's moral systems pretty much into 1. believers and 2./3. believers. So from a a functional point of view it is quite easy to figure out where you stand.

>And I have not seen a good rationalization for any of above.
There is exactly one moral system which is fully rationalized and internally coherent "morality is just your feelings". All other attempts to build a moral system up from nothing have failed and people have *tried*.

So either you take a leap of faith that the traditionally developed moral systems are good despite their apparent irrationality (themselves requiring a leap of faith) or you go sliding down the slope of rationality.
@RacistGoku42069 our ruling elites have this funny quirk where they inflic horrendous abuse against us, but no one really gives a fuck as long as those abuses are dressed up in friendly language.
The government isn't spying on you, they're just "monitoring extremism"
You're not being replaced, "diversity is our strenght"
The election wasn't rigged, it was "fortified"
It's not biological warfare, its a "self-spreading vaccine"

now if I really like a company, maybe I *actually* wanna talk to some really cool people and see some really cool shit before letting them down....

I'll literally say "So I'm guessing the felony conviction isn't a problem?" literally while signing the offer letter. It's fucking hilarious.

Ink ain't even dry. Everything was fine 30 seconds ago. Everyone leaves the room. Security shows up to escort me out.

If you laugh, it hurts less.

what's also funny is calling/going to organizations that help felons find work.

"we're mostly here to place women and others who are held back in their lives by felony convictions. *you* can't be held back by *your* felony conviction, because employers already *want* you"

and holy fuck I want the life these people think I have
