@ooignignoktoo the majority of people don't think, they merely do what everyone else is doing. They want to "fit in" and be accepted by the herd.

They will do the most irrational things as long as it's the socially accepted behavior as the last year has clearly shown.

This is why controlling the media and censorship is critical. This power is only maintained as long as you can control what the NPCs perceive to be the "correct" thoughts and behaviors.

@ooignignoktoo I will go further than that and say that whether one finds themselves in a dictatorship or a democracy, it makes no difference to the ones out of power. Whether it's the 1% oppressing the 99% or the 51% oppressing the 49%, it is the same.
