I have no idea what this manga is about yet, but this is a great first page.

in light of what’s happened to a few of our frens here i think we all need to double and triple check our opsec again. just to review:

-never reveal anything that could be used to identify you. even something as seemingly unimportant as your age and what city you live in gives the troons a much smaller target area to search. do not say on here where you work or what you do. do not tell anyone your name. do not poast about your kids. refrain from mentioning your involvement in specific events. any or all of that stuff is just a breadcrumb trail for autistic psycho troons to piece together until they can identify you.
-the troons that do this shit have no lives. their entire existence is lived on the internet, they are almost always unemployed and on disability for “mental health issues” and they’re psychotically hypersensitive and hold grudges far longer than any rational person would. they are literally paid by the government to track down threats to the neoshitlib system. doxing never happens by accident and there’s rarely any one single fact that reveals to these monsters who you are. typically they’ve been after their target for weeks or months if not longer.
-never ever click a google docs link (unless you do so in an incognito tab/window), particularly if it’s been poasted here to poa.st/fediverse. if you use any google services like gmail or google drive that’s tied to your real name and you stay logged in then that will automatically give your real name to whoever owns the docs file. this is one of their favorite tricks because it can potentially give them a huge list of names to check out. you should seriously consider deleting your google account entirely or at the very least staying logged out of it.
-speaking of accounts: do not reuse usernames across platforms. do not tell people that you used to be ‘buckbreaker420’ on twitter/gab/parler/tumblr or whatever. all this does is give the troons access to another account of yours to comb over for clues and if your opsec on that old account wasn’t very good then you just handed them information to use against you.
-never poast anything here that is tied to your real name. it doesn’t matter how cool you think it would be to share it with your frens or how proud you are of it. this is an instant dox (and also how that spookynationalist dude got doxed).
-do not poast selfies or even pictures of yourself where you blurred out or covered your face. these people have tracked down individuals from their tattoos/birthmarks/freckles or from identifying other people in the picture or even the damn clothes they were wearing.
-do not think you’re too ‘small time’ for them to care about. not to beat the spookynationalist drum too much but he only had a few hundred followers on twitter and only like 120 here on fediverse. they don’t care how small your following is, they want your life destroyed simply because they’ve identified you as an enemy.
-remember that once you poast something here it becomes part of the permanent record. even if no one is actively archiving your poasts/replies on their own it’s incredibly easy to archive/analyze huge volumes of data and is only likely to get cheaper and easier to do as time goes on. you should basically be poasting under the assumption that your every poast is being watched by zog enforcers.

we all break these rules to varying degrees and that’s ok sometimes but the more you keep these guidelines in mind the safer you’ll be.
