I know this is just a hobby, and you think you are productive to society, I just wanted to say this here right now.
If you are a photographer, I DESPISE YOU.
If you take photos of buildings, you are just riding off hard work of others. If you take photos of stones, you're just selecting from the beauty of nature.
You cannot enjoy the beauty around you without looking whrough a peace of plastic.
And when there are social events, people have to watch out, since you will frame their relaxed face when they let their guard off even for a single second.
For what? How many times do you look at all 300 000 pictures in your "collection"? If your HDD burned down tomorow, you woudn't even notice all the events you missed.

Hng. Part of my volunteer work involved me helping drive around the elderly. And a few of the people I was driving around were elderly gay guys and it was really depressing. They don't have their youthful looks. They can't do drugs. All the things they would want to do like... acting was predicated on them being young. And of course... they have no family. Even if their parents and siblings accepted them for being gay they'd be even older and gone. So of course, they have no family and no enduring friends or lovers.
I can think of nothing worse than growing old as a gay guy.

@g @LukeAlmighty mimochodem, studenty dnes nejvíc dostalo, když se navzájem propojili přes ssh a chatovali kolektivně skrz "wall" a odpojovali ostatní killnutím sshd :-D V době, kdy je sdílení zcela běžná věc, tak lidi pořád fascinuje textová konzole.. přijde mi, jako by vůbec nevnímali, že jsou ty počítače navzájem propojené, přestože běžně chatují ve skupině na teamsech.. taková kravina a dokázala upoutat pozornost úplně všech na půl hodiny (že si toho výrobci aplikací ještě nevšimli! :-))
