@LukeAlmighty in our company we had SCRUM.. it means that there is no boss, but the team decides... the result? one liked java, another python, another this technology and another that.. but nobody wanted to damage relationships, so in the end all technologies were implemented.. it was a terrible system where deployment took twenty minutes (and sometimes it didn't even succeed :-)).. however, on key issues, there was still a boss - an unofficial one - a colleague who had natural authority.. people listened to his opinions.. so even if you want to destroy any hierarchy, it appears unofficially, this is what I have learned.. and without hierarchy, indeed, things are getting worse... but on the other hand, if you prefer the hierarchy then you need to find really clever people, otherwise their impact could be even worse.. that's the reason for the SCRUM, I think..

It is truly amazing to hear any meeting with more then 2 people on the same authority level.

Out of a sudden, the ability to utilize high level simulations completelly disappears, and people have to start deciding based on slogan-level logic. It's not that each of them is too stupid to make the right decision on their own, but they cannot communicate the complete simulation, so they have to stop after first 2 steps.

Refusing a clear hierarchycal systems was a mistake that most of western economy will never recover from.

@Greannach @Eris There was supposed to be smart people at the top of various professions preventing this sort of thing from happening. But we know how they turned out.

Recently, I realized, that I developed a habbit of using Shift + enter instead of enter.

It allows me to write on multiple lines in so many "simple" programs, but somehow, it drives any program with advanced formating crazy. :blobcatdunno:

@Suzu

Jap VTubers: hide their identities like the most precious secrets. When they leak they're usually cute

Non-Jap "VTubers" (most don't even have rig): voluntarily facefag and are hamplanets.
So, a guy on Twitter said "hey, you know what? Vtubers posting their real faces is kinda lame and defeats the whole purpose of the thing" and then all the shitty indie Vtubers threw a hissfit and "ratioed" the guy by flooding the anime and vtuber tags with their fucking selfies.
Not only the guy was right, because if you are going the trouble of creating a fucking model and getting all the movement capture shit and have a character why the fuck would you mingle your irl self with it, but also the whole thing is a freak show.

The lesson here is: gatekeep hard everything. Never give an inch. Curbstomp any newcomer to a hobby, it doesn't matter if they say "oh, we need to make this little concession for it to grow", fuck it, allowing one single person in opens the gates for the unwashed masses to ruin everything.
Seriously, fuck indie vtubers. I think I'll even give up of my idea of streaming and using a femboy avatar because I don't want to be lumped together with these things.

@TheMadPirate An increasing number of traditional male activities are discouraged and or illegal. The culture has turned on masculinity.

Just seen the first episode of Cowboy bebop...

Damn, this shit is depressing.
