I used to deapise the stories emphesizing that people should choose humanity over racional safety. These stories made no sense.
But, when the covid hit, I finally understood their importance. It's tragic that I found a reason to be human at the exact time most people had lost it.
being autistic might be a choice, but in the same way as being poor is a choice, it's a choice that noone bothers to tell you how to decline while there is still time.
