They really dragged this topic through the mud: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conspiracy_theory
"Some researchers suggest that conspiracist ideation—belief in conspiracy theories—may be psychologically harmful or pathological[14][15] and that it is correlated with lower analytical thinking, low intelligence, psychological projection, paranoia, and Machiavellianism.[16] Psychologists usually attribute belief in conspiracy theories and finding a conspiracy where there is none to a number of psychopathological conditions such as paranoia, schizotypy, narcissism, and insecure attachment,[9]"

This is a fun practice to look up wikipedia articles before the world went insane so you can realize it was just one massive shift from deranged individuals

Oh yeah, I was gonna do a thread on this, but there’s a study that just came out that found that Omicron has a really interesting gene sequence.

This sequence isn’t found in any other variant of COVID, but it is found in one of the variants of the common cold (the common cold is also caused by a coronavirus).

This suggests that Omicron may have been the result of a crossover event where a patient was infected with both COVID-19 and the cold at the same time, and both got into the same cell during replication.

The result appears to be a COVID variant that is more infectious, but less lethal than the prior variants.

>tell teenagers that they have nothing to look forward to but student debt and middle management and they will NEVER own a house
>tell them that there is no way they can reasonably expect to be married or have children that care for them
>prevent them from travelling or doing all the active activities that youth are supposed to be doing unless they comply with medical tyranny
>finally, tell them that they are privileged oppressors simply because they're white
I wonder why all these teenagers are turning to fringe ideologies?
