It's interesting to go through the concept art of Fallout 3 and 4 and see how much more art deco and unique it was vs the final product. Curious of it was just a rendering budget/engine limitation issue or if someone higher up wanted something a bit blander and more consumer friendly.

Musím říct, po dnešním vyhodnocení dlouhodobých projektů žáků - je to tragédie. Jestli takhle chceme dohnat a předehnat Čínu, tak možná za 500 let? :-)

Rozložení je asi následující: 3-5% věc zajímá a baví, 20% je naprosto nepoužitelných a ze zbytku lze jakž-takž cosi "vymlátit", ovšem určitě ne docílit vnitřní motivaci. Přitom to nejsou lidi, které by IT vůbec nebralo. Naopak, je mezi nimi i pár opravdu nadaných jedinců. Jenže ti mají nulovou schopnost udělat aspoň to málo, co je po nich požadováno (a že jsem to fakt hodně zredukoval, jen aby se systém "nažral" a ty žáky jsem tím neotravoval).

Kolega už se výhradně věnuje těm 3-5 procentům, kteří mají motivaci a zbytek mu je ukradený.

Takže:

Je problém v lidech, že dělají jen to co je baví a je jim to příjemné? Nebo je problém v učitelích, kteří nedokážou látku podat příjemně a zábavně?

V tomhle případě jsem se snažil věc udělat zábavnou i konkrétní, aby žáci od začátku věděli, co dělají a proč (webová aplikace, která nakonec může běžet na androidu). Přesto výsledek teda nic moc.

Problém bude asi někde uprostřed.

Jednak je ve školství, které od začátku učí formou cukru a biče (známkování), avšak nevytvoří tím v lidech vnitřní motivaci. Toto pak přetrvává až na VŠ, které se studují jen kvůli titulům. Společnost tituly považuje za metu všech met.

Jednak v současné generaci, která vyrostla ve vatě a je zvyklá automaticky dostávat. Vlastně za to nemůže ta generace, jako spíš rodiče, kteří je rozmazlili. Začíná to totiž záplavou vánočních dárků.

Tohle ale nevyřeší žádná reforma školství. Všímám si toho, že se teď uvažuje kde ještě víc slevit (a to se považuje za reformu), ale v podstatě jsou všichni bezradní.

Budeme mít tedy víc lidí, kteří odmaturují, víc bakalářů a magistrů po třech letech. Ovšem do firmy bych takové lidi nechtěl, snad na helpdesk a pod trvalým dozorem kamer :-)

P.S. Budoucnost naší společnosti spočívá v lidech, kteří chodí rok do solárka a ještě to dokáží zhodnotit...
