>2016 - Dems spend years going on about how Russia hacked the election
>2020 - Stop the steal, calls for the dismantling of the Republican Party as they are a "threat"

The fact that peaceful transition of power between factions no longer exists and all sides now resort to challenging the legitimacy of power and need to pull dirty tricks means the Liberal idea of Democracy is gone. The system only moves on by inertia from most Americans still buying the whole people have a say in the system so that give legitimacy claim.
