We have seen this with the transition from Iraq War shock and awe to today's impotent "we'll send them some missiles" discourse. They had a good ten or so years of people willing to die for their propaganda, and now that is gone.

Now, all they have is a small core of pudgy sadists. Soon, they will have to choose between another WACO (which they no longer have the credibility to survive without provoking sustained retaliatory violence from whichever group is perceived as the victim) and quietly letting power slip from their grasp.

Don't want to support Russia just to be edgy or an hipster but Ukraine and the West have bring so insufferable and the propaganda so retarded that I have to be on team Russia. For fuck sake they are so passive aggressive they are attacking cats.
