TLDR for most people email = Gmail

Fun story: last year I had to get rapid antigen test for [EVENT]. Basically you five them your name and email, they take the sample and in ~30 minutes they email you the result, then at the entrance you just show that pdf, no QR codes or any of that shit.
Anyway, there's one girl with a laptop inputing data and a few more people working with samples and whatever. I tell her my name and email (literally myname@protonmail) and she gets visibly confused. Having prior experience with telling people my email, I instantly offer to type it in myself and she's like oh yea sure and hands me the laptop
