@Victor_Emmanuel @RealRaul That being said you CAN break those habits, probably better than you think. One ex was immensely slovenly and lazy, spent all her time “depressed” and locked in her dirty room. Not long after we went our separate ways she got married to some always-smiling guy and she’s a totally different person. Sis says she’s a hard working wife now, has a pt job saving up for kid #1

Changing her environment, support structure can change a lot

(although I came back to a very dirty house so it seems we still have a lot of work to do)

@LukeAlmighty @PonyPanda Chicks are wired different though, competition isn’t so much an active thing they engage in, it’s passive, like holding a hand in poker. There’s an active component where they try to self-improve (by their standards) to get better cards, but in social situations they’re closely attuned to who’s holding what and where they stack up.
